WHAT IS FOREST THERAPY?
The goal of Forest Therapy is to support the health and wellness of participants through guided, immersive experiences in nature.
This includes wellness and resilience of body, mind and spirit.

As a forest therapy walk participant, you will be guided through a series of invitations to slow down and connect with nature in your own unique way.

Forest Therapy Guides are not therapists. Support for wellness comes to participants from their interaction with the environment.​

The philosophy of Forest Therapy Guiding through ANFT, is that “The forest is the therapist. The guide opens the doors.”

A forest therapy walk gives time, space, guidance and the invitation to feel alive. Forest therapy is about pausing and embodying our experience of the present moment. It’s about giving ourselves the opportunity - and permission - to slow down and rejuvenate. Being guided through a forest immersion gives participants the opportunity to engage in nature in ways they may never have.
